Can it be done without removing the 440 from my Challenger? The steering box has been leaking all summer and I'm about it but not to the point that I would have to pull the motor I hope

Yep, can be done with the engine in place. Just did it on my '68 GTX.

The engine wont have to be removed. But the driver side engine mount and header may come into play for removal. But , the engine will not have to be removed. mike

If it's the sector shaft seal you might try replacing it with the box in place.
