I am going to change the steering components; tie rod ends, pitman arm, idler arm, adjuster sleeves and ball joint on a 68 Charger. Any suggestions as to what part to take off first to make the others easier to take off? Also, anyone have any idea what size nut is holding the pitman arm to the power steering gear box. 1 1/4" is too small and 1 1/2" is too large. I don't have anything in between.
Thanks

My sugestion is to bust loose the ball loints, pittman , idler arm, and asymble next to the old .As per the nut,use a big cressant.
