Hi All

I was wondering who made a good mid level disc brake conversion kit for 1970 Dodge B bodies. I see lots of different stuff on both ebay and summit? Can anyone tell me which ones they got and what thety liked about them.

I have done both the junk yard refresh parts way and kits from SSBC and found the kit was complete with new parts that fit plus it is all compatible with the rest of the parts in the kit. Price after everything didn't make enough of a difference. Old cars with decent parts in local junk yards are getting tough to find and local Mopar people don't let loose of much.

I'm going the junkyard route, mainly because I want factory parts on my car. Does anyone happen to know where the SSBC parts are made?

The factory 11.75 stuff works great for street driving. If you put some power in the car and want to take it to the track then you'll need to step up. We upgraded the red Valiant to six piston Baer stuff earlier this year. The complete kit costs about $3000 but it really works.

I put on the SSBC kit. Good quality and was easy to install.

I did also.I chose the SSBC kit because of the 4 piston calipers.I did not opt up for the coated calipers or rotors nor the slotted & crossdrilled.I am going 135mph in the 1/4 mile @3800 lbs stopping effortlessly, next season I expect trap speeds over 150mph

HEMI-ITIS has no cure.
My condition is fully BLOWN!!
