that, I'm not exactly sure lol... I just know that when I looked at paint chips a few years back, we had it narrowed down to 3 and the one I chose was near identical to the fc7 chip but had a lot more metal flake.... if I recall correctly it's a dupont color

well, that's it for now.... but there is definitely no shortage of winter projects left to do in anticipation of spring.... sadly, most of the really important ones have to wait until spring for the most part due to me having an unheated/uninsulated puny little garage and living in Canada lol

as for the cars basic stats... she started life as a "in violet" 340 car, with an, auto(727), buckets, console, ralley dash, white interior, white stripes, 8 3/4 rear with 3.23 gears...
...sadly, and likely due to someone's foolishness while checking the options boxes....she wound up with power drum brakes instead of discs, and an open diff instead of a suregrip

thus, due to an accident at some time in the late 70's... when she finally found me, she was missing the original 340 and had a 77 318 under the hood. as well, the original shark tooth grill was missing with a 72 grill in it's place... she was also sporting a fancy "disco" body flare kit and some funky pink heartbeat monitor style stripes, likely due to whom'ever acquired her after the accident, being a huge fan of the movie "corvette summer" or something of the like lol ***an interesting side note is that one of my son's friends dad knows the guy that performed the "disco" transformation years ago, who says the car was acquired via a police auction and apparently belonged to a drug dealer who smashed it up while attempting to evade the police

any way, enough of my ramblings lol.... I'll showcase more as the project unfolds

The car is looking good. Is your garage insulated if so through a 1500 watt oil heater in there and that should keep you warm enough to work on the car.
