Are there any visible differences or external numbers between a 3 and a 5 series casing.

My car is almost the same deal and I broke my Richmond 4.56's the last race of the season after one full season on them. So does my car fall into the 2% category??? Not likely. I'm switching to Pro Gears and not looking back. By the way, Pro Gears are softer not harder. Hard=brittle, soft= malleable...

Yes, street gear = HARD

Pro Gear = SOFT
