Today I bought two new Erson cams and a set of sig erson lifter all for $40 on Craigslist. There were no cam cards or parts numbers. One cam has the distributor drive gear in front so I think it is bigblock. It is stamped on the front Erson RV-10-H B104S4, the other has distributor drive gear in back. It is stamped Erson HiFlow 1H B107S1. The lifters had a part number of 914651 wich I think should be E914651. I traced that number to the smallblock engine, However I would like to use the lifters for the bigblock cam. Can I do this? Any help in identifying these cams will help. I want to use these in my trucks so I dont want to install a racing cam. Thanks

Call Tom at Auto Marine Machine in Carson City, NV
775-841-3886. Tom was the main man at Erson Cams when Mr.Gasket Co was operating in Carson City. He's a great guy & should be able to help you.

the RV10H is not listed under the big block section of the catalog...they do have it listed under the small block section..

I can email you this catalog since it is a PDF file.

How about looking that second cam up as a Hemi since Big Block & Hemi look very similar but the intake & exhaust lobe positions are out of order...

Big block and small block have the same lifter diameter, so it should be no problem using them on either cam .

Erson did offer hydraulic Hemi cams though. I had two Hemi's with Super Hiflow II's in them and they worked just great in a stock 426 hemi (like high 11's with headers but otherwise stock).
