carnage well I did get a new best of 9.76 at 138 this weekend and got a new 8.50 sticker

now for the carnage left head gasket

right head gasket

left cylinder head

have not checked them with a straight edge but the right head and the block appear to have escaped with out any damage.
But it looks like I will be done for a while since my job situation is changing and I am losing 10.00 per hour but will see what i can do to get it up and running.

kind of what we thought, glad it was not worse.it's end of the season so you will have some time. hope things work out for guys.

oh yea congrats on getting deep into the 9 second club with out any tunning maybe more fuel will make it go faster. I am sure there is more in it. thats really pretty stout for that combo

yeah I think there is more in it with a little tuning maybe try a dominator in the future and see how it likes that

the more I look at the gaskets the more it just looks like gasket failure. I wonder what the limits are on those marine head gaskets. I bet hey just couldn't stand the compression.

yes it is NA car was running great all week end no sighs and then it just went to poping and spitting.

Congrats on a new best. That head will be easily repaired by any competent welder. A little tip; hammer tap the area directly after welding to aid in alloy density. Good luck Woody.

hd my machinist look at the head this morning said no problem on fixing it now I just have to come up with the coin
