Is there a repair kit or just the sleeve for a 70 B Body Pitman arm power steering shaft. Or is this a waste of time and it is easier/safer to replace the entire gearbox assembly?

There is a lower bearing in there. And they sell the seal.

I assume the output shaft is moving laterally.

Haven't checked for this condition, just have a small static leak. Tried Lucas stop leak, did not work yet, if it ever will.
Just thought a sleeve repair would be easier than replacement.

Check for movement and change the seal.
