ringo440 OP enthusiast R Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 235 ga	i have a friend that is looking at 68 charger right now and called and ask if the vin on dash and on radiator support. should match i told him it should is this right .or is 68 different

69charger2002 super stock 6 Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 848 louisiana	yes 68 is different. they will not match. if there is a fender tag the 6 digits where a VIN normally is on 69 and up should match the rad support etc. but the VIN number is different on the dash. which was stupid in my opinion. makes it hard to prove whether a 68 VIN has ever been changed or not if there is no fender tag.
