bought a nice previous owned switch panel for my race dart. this winter's project. it can be mounted on the cage or on a mount somewhere else. i can't decide what to do with it. old switches are between seats. some pictures of your panels would be a great help. thanks

I drilled a hole into the bracing at the corner of the roof and
ran the wire through a grommet, down the inside of the A-pillar.

Heres a pic of mine. Still in the process of finishing up the wiring. Made the panel and attached with bar clamps.
Not arc but may give you an idea.

mine was mounted on a roll bar but i moved it

71 demon stock stroke 440/indy ez-1 running 10.10 @ 132.14 mph in the 1/4 and 6.36 @ 107.46 mph in the 1/8 not in the same weekend but It did it then I sold it.

When 408dust did mine he welded a piece of tube at an 45* angle and mounted it well within arms reach.
