'69 Dart GTS. Made them small enough so you can't see them from the side and didn't have to cut the factory floors.

Mine are tubular units from Magnum Force Racing. Did not interfere with the floor and fit nicely.

You can bolt these connectors in if you do not want to weld on your car. I welded mine but did not bolt the center brace and there is no sign of movement. Not a bad product, that was reasonably priced and does the job.

some great information!

I love you see how you guys get the job done...

We have torque boxes in the back. I was wondering how far I should cut into the torque box to weld the frame connectors in?

If you have a roll bar, be sure to tie it to the frame connectors with short bars running down & inward from the main hoop, just behind the seats.

Keith C - Those look nice! Did you make your own contoured units or buy them from US Car Tool or XV? If you made them, what stock did you use and how did you go about tracing the contours and making them (plasma cutter?)
