removing fuel cell and electric pump to install o.e. system. the steel line stops just short of the front spring hanger, then 3/8 hose around frame too pump and fuel cell.should the steel line run through the frame,as it is up front, and closer to the tank? how close,i think it should be steel to the top of the frame arch, still out side the rail, then 90 under the frame and hose to tank,is that correct?,it's been a lot of years, hard to remember

The line wraps around the rear framerail and ends above the rear axle near the tank pickup, a very short maybe 5 " rubber line goes from the line to the tank. Then there is a ground strap that runs from the tank pickup line to the line on the body, that is how the fuel tank sending unit gets grounded.
