Anyone running a gear drive, have the dog bone fall out from between the cam gear and crank gear. I tried again to send pic of what it looked like when i took the cover off but apparently my pics are jpg and this site only downloads img.

If the dog bone failed, it was either a failure of the thrust buttons on each gear, or someone ground the back of the thrust buttons too far, as the assembly relies on each thrust button to keep the assemble from contacting the rear/face of the block,...or the main thrust gear (larger dia) was installed on the wrong side, causing the dogbone to "walk" forward off the cam and crank gear,.....
