dynomax pn 17768 or 17769 depending on inlet/outlet config...
I'd also look at the new dynomax VT's...
the bigger the case, the better the chance of noise attenuation...if a straight through design, look at some of the BIG magnaflows (the 5x12x20" or 5x8x22" cases)

Assuming you're all together & just want to change to (quieter) muffs but I'd suggest adding an X pipe, resonator muffs in the very rear by the leafs (glasspacks w no neckdown where the nipples are welded to the body/louvers punched toward the outside) dyno max muffs as said and one guy who understood accoustics welded horizontle exhaust pipe a foot or so long & capped on the end welded on each bend out sideways as it went over the axle (one to the left and 1 to the right) & said it made a heck of a difference. sounds strange but evidently it cancels sound waves. I would maintain your mandrel bends throughout.

if it is already together, a first test would be to put some glasspacks in the tailpipes as resonators...that alone might quiet it down to meet your needs.

http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=VOETOMMike, listen to Dad's wagon run. He runs 5" by 11" by 22" Goerlich 3" XLERATORS with a true Dr. Gas X-crossover in this video. Very similar sound to the large Magnaflows mentioned above. We also are running some VTs on a couple of other cars you need to wait a tad longer while they get some more suited to thumping 3" equipped engines. Tom

Quiet not but an X pipe will help.

Thanks guys.. I guess I should be more detailed:
Currently has headers out to Bullets out to a slight bend. It is not a full exhaust and I do not think I will be able to run a full exhaust.
So I am thinking off the headers to some electric cutouts to muffs then dump out in front of rear tires.
Looking to see what my best bet for muffs are to get a respectable street tone with out it being too loud.
it'll never be quiet dumping before the axle....
ditto. I bought a 67 GTX w/ mani's 2.5 X-pipe and BIG factory mufflers...no tail pipes and it sounded awful. You need tail pipes to get the job done. They do more than you think. If you don't run tail pipes do not dump the exhaust towards the ground, either direct it out towards the sides or towards each other.

I had 2 ich hookers into 3 inch exhaust, turned down at the rear axel...with series 40 flowmasters. I could idle through downtown lockport NY and set off all the car alarms...I then extended the exhaust with 2 1/2 inch pipe to the rear bumper and it sort of "neutered" the sound but alot of My mopar buds say that's how a mopar should sound..IF...I build another car...I'm going to keep the original configuration as I like it loud...even at 60 years old....lol
Mine also has an "H" pipe

I was worried about the exhaust being too loud on my car too, as I had to dump before the axle as well. Not as much engine as you, but I went with a full 2.5" system I made up from scratch pretty much using an X pipe and Spintech side exit mufflers. I am still making the tips for it (which will be angled back and end right under the sill infront of the rear) but here is how they sound.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CK6qKTXjJKMAs well, I mocked up a tip on one side and it makes a very noticable difference with about 10" of tubing out of the muffler. This is inside the garage too...with it outside, you can hear it enough, but not too loud at all I think. Here it is with the mounts all done and painted by the way...
