It's non power brakes and I checked the inside of the master cylinder and it is dry. I checked the outside of the master cylinder and it is dry too. Could it have had air in it and just bled back into the master cylinder? Ronnie
Look on the firewall INSIDE the car , brake fluid doesn't mysteriously evaporate. You either have a HUGE leak which you would see under the car or it's under your carpet .

Maybe they weren't bled right in the 1st place, air in lines Bleed the brakes again, then top off the m/c, and see what happens.
I'll go with this one...You had air in the lines.....the air bled upwards and the fluid drained down to fill the void of the air-pockets.
I have a difficult time believing you wouldn't miss the lack of braking power with that much air in the lines. But as was said above, it didn't evaporate.

The lines don't go thru the frame any where. It had a good peddle for several days and didn't just happen all at once. I could feel the peddle changing a little each day not much but some. I'm hoping it just had some air in the system and it worked it's way out. Ronnie
Does your car have the torsion bar crossmember DELETE option ?

It would be difficult for the air to work it's way out of a sealed system. I'm guessing there is a leak somewhere you just have to find it.
