Why would you buy a cheap helment???? Sorry but I can't see that for any reason.

Thats too funny!...when I used to be into snowmobile racing...we had more fun with that sign than you can imagine! It was quoted MANY MANY times around the shops....never thought anyone remembered it. And yes, I like Bell helmets. There area lot of junk cheapazz helmets for sale. trust your head to a quality piece.

I got that poster from the motorcycle dealer show that used to be here in Cincinnati around 1982. It's been in my garage ever since. I have a couple Bell helments from my motorcycle days.

A Simpson helment helped save my life. I slamed a concrete wall at 240 MPH in a top alky dragster and I remember thinking this is gonna hurt right before impact. My head was almost ripped off at impact and then slamed into the roll cage after that. I was still alive and awake after the forth impact,3 with the wall and once into my competiors car.

That helment was never used again and resides in my office at work. None of my safety gear was ever used again, it all got replaced. NHRA rules, they cut all the SFI tags off. Cheap ain't worth it when it comes to ANYTHING in racing. If you want cheap, you don't belong in racing. imo
