A zoomed in and cropped pic of a Superbird. As I mentioned earlier these are older scans that I happen to still have on the hard drive. The quality of some of them is fairly poor...

Allen, I don't know the green Bird, but did you notice that in every photo of the wing cars, there is either one with custom touches or a project car. A little different than todays super santitized, perfect car mentality.

Former NHOA National Director Kevin Kelleher's (sp?) 1971 Hemi `Cuda... the one the Monogram model was based on... right down to the stretch marks in the leather seats and "Plymouth" decal on the back glass.

Very true Doug, I noticed that too. The Aero Cars seemed to have held on to the custom touches longer than other Mopars, but now most have "conformed".

Here is my friend's Hemi `Cuda following me back from the race track...

A Superbird and other Mopars flying past us... we were only doing 10-15 MPH over the posted limit... not enough for them I guess.

Wayne had W23 "Recall Wheels" on the Daytona at the time... it was the first time that I saw the W23s in person.

The meet had Challenger T/As of many colors, including five pink ones IIRC. Here is a green one that I liked...

What I find hard to grasp is bringing a '71 Cuda to the '81 Mopar Nats would be like bringing a 2000 model today.
