Drill and tap the block to run a remote filter...
makes it much easier and more clearance for the headers

PM sent rickster

you can allways drill it to 1/2" and massage the 90* turn and gasket match it

along with all the other oiling mods to the oil pump and rear main cap and drilling the 9/32 oil galleys...well you know..

i got the 9/32 drill bit and the short 1/2 drill bit..just dont have the 10-12 inch bit for the deep one to the oil filter 90*

the last one i did,i spent most of the time in the 90* the fliter plate and removeing the cross section of the factory drill bit end flukes

man the things you can do with an angle grinder and a dremal tool

and about an 18 pack of miller light

I had about 40 hrs in the home gasket match, home pocket port, block stress relieveing

did the main webs and all to the oil gally and return holes opend up

herb and hensleys little blue book,I wish I could find another copy of it

all I gots left is a rag with herbs oil mods on a 360 left

Been there done that.....anyway I've decided to just pick up the stock plate and fitting for now and may go with either a moroso or canton remote setup down the road....right now I just need to get the moder primed and the lifters pumped up.

Thanks

Got to give a quick shout-out and a huge thank you to Chris (DC4126) for sending me out a right angle adapter for just the cost of the ride....Thanks Chris

Do have a question, since I've never used one an anyone tell me what the correct gaskets and placement of them would be for this adaptor...????? (Mopar 2951995)

Will the stock adaptor gaskets work...??? I have a set of those

Big round gasket ( obvious..lol) against the block and adapter plate, small metal cored gasket under the head of the bolt, cork gasket at end of bolt, but UNDER the plate, so it seals between the plate and the block.
