My buddy is doing a hemi challenger project. He has a set of new hemi motor mounts that he would like to use (rather then purchasing the mounts that will allow a hemi to be installed in a non-hemi V8 k-frame). He would like to purchase just the brackets so that they can be welded to a k-frame and then he can use his hemi-motor mounts. Does anyone repo these brackets? Thanks!!!

Mega Parts sells a converted K frame with the Hemi brackets correctly welded on.
They have a welding Jig made to properly position the brackets on the frame so the engine sits in the correct place.

you will better off with a Clone k frame, as those adapat a mounts seem to raise the engine a 1/2 " or so.

I picked up one 12 years ago from Hemispherical Products.

Thanks for the replys. The problem with that k-frame is the car in question has a shaker hood so raising the motor will cause an issue, not to mention the cost of the k-frame. I guess what is needed is someone who has a damaged or rusted hemi k-frame with good brackets. Thanks

jeff , do a search someone recently posted they bought brackets to do what you want , I posted in the thread at some point , it was in the last month or so.

That said I have the megaparts K, it's very nice, it's right and it just bolts right in.

The only Hemi mount kit that I am aware of is the one for A bodies. It's from SS and AFX.

John, I checked your post history and could really see anything. Does anyone else know of an option here?
