hey everyone!

they are not making a lot of parts for 71s anymore. i had to put in a 73 steering box and matching 73 pittman arm. then the center link didnt work so i got a nice centerlink from steves mopar in AK it was from a 74. common sense says idler arm should be 73 on up as well of course before all this i ordered a 71 front sway bar which hasnt arrives yet. a real mopar mechanic is doing the work, hes at a standstill. any helpful hints will be greatly appreciated

Does the car have a the '71 K-member or is it the '73 unit? If it is the '73 unit, you will need the '73 style sway bar. Otherwise I don't know what you are asking

Yes, or you could have used a pre 73 pitman and kept our centerlink, but then a real mopar mechanic would have known that.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

If he's a REAL Mopar mechanic he should NOt be at a standstill.

You can use the early sway bar. If there is interference with late model disc brakes mounted to the front, just shorten the end links on the bar.

Doesn't the 73 up pitman arm & idler go in from the top of the center link?? If so all parts would need to be the same style.
72 down goes in from the bottom I know.
