I've got a set of bushings from Mike Roth for my steering linkage that goes through the oil pan. (that changes from tapered hole to straight).
The instuctions say to use stock castle nut and a hardened washer to prevent the nut from pulling through the steering linkage, but if I put a washer on between the linkage and nut, the nut will not go down far enough on the the tie rod end to put the cotter pin in.
Anyone on here deal with this before and what to do?
Thanks, Brian Dunnigan

I had the same problem. I had factory style castle nuts that are quite tall. I used a friends lathe to turn some of the base of the nut off until everything fit fine and used a grade 8 flat washer. There are thin castle nuts out there, you can try a bolt supply company, or maybe even Tractor Supply

Hope it helps. Good Luck.
