I am using a Moroso drive kit on my stock early 273 pump. I did install the 28% overdrive pulley, but I really don't think that it flows enough. I'm sure that the stock belt drive will keep the engine cooler, but don't want to lose the HP. Any suggestions on electric water pumps. Just to make it interesting, my 1965 setup has the waterpump outlet on the driver's side.

I think from memory the Mezeire pump has the option of either a left or right outlet. Been a while since I have looked at on though.

FWIW - any competent radiator shop can move the radiator outlet to the other side very easily.
BTW that is the water pump inlet not the outlet.

Weld A disc on the back of the blades. It will definitely move more water that way. Probably cost you some HP though.

This is a strip only car. I see that Summit and Jegs have a Proform 30-35gpm electric waterpump that may work. I really hate to buy Chinese parts though and I am not sure if the flow rate is enough anyway.
