I have an original 383 71 challenger with factory A/C. I have put in a 440 6 pak, but would like to use the factory air. Can this be done? Can it be done to look like original? Does anyone have pictures and part numbers of the parts they bought. I know you can't use the stock compressor because it hits the air cleaner base, so how does the sandan compressor mount and what else changes? I do have some lines, the drier, the stock compressor and some brackets from the original setup. Does anyone make a stock correct looking repo condenser? Thanks for the help.

I've seen pictures on here in the past showing a 6 pack set up using a factory compressor. From what I remember a small notch needs to be cut in the base plate where it would interfere with the compressor. It looked like factory with the stock equipment.

I had the factory RV2 and a 6 pack setup. The entire lip had to be removed from the base so that the base is the same diameter as the air cleaner. The vacuum line in the back of the compressor needs to be bent down a little.

No pics as it was that way till the 90s when I went back to a 4 bbl.

That is what Jensen did on the Interceptor SP...
