I have a 440 bored .030 over with a Lunati 60302 cam andpossibly a 3.73 gear posi. Holley 750 dual line vaccum secondary carb. Stock torque converter and 727 Tranny. What kind of time should I expect to get in the 1/4?

13's, but thats just a guess. Ive seen guys with nothing special that knew how to dial in a car and drive it run mid 11's. On the other side Ive seen some straight out drag car set ups run 14's

Guesstimating about mid 14's to 14 flat. To hit
13's, you need 3.91,s or better or with the 3.73's
a little more stall in the converter and sort out the weight transfer in the suspension.

Stock intake and exhaust manifolds?? 2 1/4" exhaust with stock mufflers??
Cam is vertually stock (Ok a smiggin above) so I'm in the mid to low 14 camp

My :

If your compression ratio is at least 9:1, your carb is opening all the way, your ignition advance is halfway close to right, and you know how to drive, I'd say high 13's. A better convertor would be worth several tenths.

depends on a lot of things. Is the carb tuned well? Have you drag raced before? slicks? Take a box full of jets and your timing light to the track. I suggest starting with 78-84 w/ 31 squirters and a 6.5 PV. Set for best vacuum. Start your timing at 38* (no vacuum advance) @ 2400rpm. Bring the car up on the converter slighty then waffle it when the last yellow lights. Shift around 5400. If you have headers try 5600. Good luck and have fun. I ran 12.90's w/ less cam but a little more gear (3.91) and a little more stall (2600) and slicks. I'd think you should see mid 13's once you get it all sorted out. Don't get upset if you pull a high 14 out 1st few runs. Have fun.

Too many variables to tell...need more details and even then it will be guesswork.

Really? The 60302 is pretty small, like 262/268 advertised, 220/226 @ 0.50".

yes I ran 12.90's in a 67 coronet w/ a 70 440 (maybe 9:1) stock 906 heads, headers, RPM intake, 750 DP and a summit 224/234-465/488 cam. I had a 175k converter and 3.91's.

Well done!

But your cam is a little bigger, not smaller.

i have the same cam/carb in a 383 in my 65 satellite with 3.55 gears and ran 13.70's .3500 lb. car and running extremely lean in high rpm;s due to 5/16 pick-up in fuel tank. yours should do pretty well once it's dialed in. ENJOY!!!

Great combo! But the 67' weighs 200-400 lbs less
than the average 440 equipped 70' B-body. 70 B-bodies weigh between 3800-4100 lbs depending how
it's optioned.

What?

My 69 b body which is the same car as a 70 weighs 3620 w/ better than a half tank. 440 would add only a few pounds over my 383. I have maybe 75 pounds AT THE MOST in aluminum stuff weight savings.

I also have a full spare and a jack at the 3620 weight. Power steering would add I think 46 pounds based on what others have figured on here. MA article said 90 vs. 12 so...

I weigh around 185. The car is was all stock steel, no fiberglass. I did not have the spare and jack in the car. I weighed it at the track, this was an "as raced" weight. I'm guessing after 4-6 passes it'd lose a few lbs of fuel weight. The car did have PS and A/C. The A/C box was in the car but the junk under the hood was removed.

The 66-67 is pretty much the same car underneath the cosmetics, so I don't see where they would weight that much different than the later years.
