I need help decoding the engine pad on a 1970 440. Dad is rebuilding and want to know what if any special data was listed from the factory. I am aware of the F440 (1970) and the est date 4 30 but there is a diagonal line with an unside down A or V with a 2 under it. Any help would be great before we get into it. Thanks Jason

A stamped "A" means it left the plant with .020" oversized cylinders.
