I have enjoyed seeing some of the other turbo projects out there and thought I would share mine. It is a '67 Charger with a SMPI 451, twin turbos, and a Viper six speed. It has taken six long years to complete but is now becoming a lot of fun. It has injectors that are too small and I have some heat management issues I want to address before I get it on a dyno. As a result, I don't have any power numbers, but it is very driveable. I have seen 18.5 MPG on one trip, and have about 3000 miles on it, including this years Hot Rod Power Tour. It is good to see there are more people out there with this insanity!

This picture was taken before it was installed. However even now the heat exchanger is difficult to see. It sits behind the grill on the drivers side. The reservoir is now on the passenger side between the headlights and the radiator opening. As far as how big, I don't remember the dimensions. It was driven more by available space than what the math called for.

are you taking any intake temps?[iat]
what waterpump for the intercooler?
i bet you only need 1 gallon reserve for the intercooler over system capacity.

I haven't taken any temp readings yet though I intend to. Right now the car is running on a VERY basic tune that was done just to get some break in miles on the engine and a chance to sort out the rest of the drive train. The tuning that has been done has been done on the road. On paper, the numbers I crunched while planning this project suggest that this could be an animal. I didn't feel the road was the right place to sort things out. As result, the tune is very much absent under boost. As I said earlier, I have a few other minor issues to sort out before I take it to a dyno. It is a work in progress but after a six year absence it is great to have it on the road again. As far as reservoir size, I currently have a one gallon capacity. I think that may be sufficient. The heat exchanger however has room to get little wider, but not much thicker. When I start leaning on it, if my inlet temps are uncomfortably high, that will be one of my first stops.

What turbos/wastegates? What size injectors?
Was the FI a kit or home made?

Hey guys, sorry to take so long to reply. I haven't had time to check the post lately. I only have a few more pictures, one of each side of the motor. I will try to post them, but if there is something in particular you would like to see, let me know. I will be happy to take some more. As far as the combination, the entire set-up is custom built. It is a tubular header feeding T3/T4 turbos. The turbine side is a Buick G/N housing (.96 a/r), the compressor is a 60-1. Wastegates are Turbosmart 45mm dumping under the car. The EFI is custom built using an Autronic SM2.The injectors currently in the motor are too small (50 lbs) and one of the reasons I haven't tried harder to get to a dyno. I need 96 lbs but have needed to spend the money in other places right now. The ecu triggers an M/W four channel cdi which is firing eight coils in a wasted spark configuration. That is why there are no plug wires on the distributor.
