I had a pair done about 10 years ago by Moser. It was $85 then. On a street car you'll be fine. Hook it up good and you'll twist them eventually.

Got mine done at Moser, hammered them for years with a hot small block & stick without problem.
Be warned that most aftermarket axles REQUIRE green bearings and removal of the block in the shur-grip.
Don't waste time trying to get a company called Dutchman to cut down your axles, I went that route recently and it turned into a fiasco.
Moser has to clean up the mess, should have contacted them again.

C body ones most likely good but hook your tape over the flange and measure out toward the splines & if you have 28" or more before it starts to neck down you are in good shape
live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
