I have one I made and when I pulled my intake off after running it there was no oil on the bottom of the intake to speak of.
70 duster full chassis super pro 416 CNC Indybrock heads 727 w/brake
best so far 1.212 60 6.219 in 1/8 at 110.88 9.768 at 137.81 1/4

I run one under my t-ram It does 2 things for me : 1 - keeps the oil off the bottom and keeps the intake cooler 2 - in the event of a valvetrain failure it will keep the lifters in the bores so I dont have a loss in oil pressure. It wont work with roller lifters.
