I am converting the brakes on a 69 Dart Swinger to disc. I have the upper control arms, spindles and caliper brackets from a 73-75 A body and I am replacing all the front end parts at the same time. I know I need to use 73-75 A-body lower ball joints but will the 69 A-body tie rod ends fit the new style ball joint? Where does the 73-75 A-body stuff stop and the original 69 suspension parts start? No swaybar, do the calipers mount to the front or to the rear of the rotor? Thanks

Calipars mount to the front. Strut rods interchange between years but you must use the proper bushings. 73+ strut rod takes a different bushing than 72 and earlier.

If you are running a sway bar you mite have to run the calipers on the back side. You can still use the brake lines for the 73, you just need to bend them a little.
