I finally found out what was causing my leaf springs to squeak. It was driving me crazy. Can't believe how nice it is to drive in peace. Here's a link to previous thread.

But it looks like my front leaf spring hangers have the eyelet hole drilled 1/8" off.
I had to grind 33% of the hanger thickness to eliminate the intereference.

Is this a failure waiting to happen?

That wound not scare me from using it but it would be nice if it fit right without grinding.

I can't believe how nice it is to have my car squeak free, it's been a week and still quiet.

As far as the grinding the hangers go, I'll just have to wait and see how they hold up.
