Can anyone tell me if tinted hardtop e-body glass is interchangeable across all 5 model years? I was under the impression that earlier glass would not work on my '74. Thanks!

The question posed relates to e body door glass. Will 1970 glass work on later model years (71-74)? If there is a difference what is it?

70 model glass uses different mounting holes. The later glass has both the 70 and 71-74 holes in them so they will work in a 70 but it is my understanding that a 70 glass will only work with the 70 mechanism parts.
