I just changed my trans pan gasket and am wondering how many quarts will be needed? It's a 727 with a B&M deep pan.

LOTS of variables here ....

Size of the converter and pan ?, stock lines with OEM cooler/warmer?, aftermarket cooler? ...I me-self like to run my ATF level LOW ...with a big Fairbanks pan.

Stock is somewhere around 17 pints, that is completely empty (TC and all). With a deeper pan, a little more probably. What do you think came out? That is what I would start with.

If only the pan was drained it should take 6-7 quarts to refill depending on how much drained from the converter.
