rebel OP master Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 4,648 aotearoa	i know most dominator air cleaners are 16" but does anyone know of a 14" drop base air cleaner? i know K&N list one but it doesn't say how much of a drop it has. i have a nice seal package for my 14" cleaner & if i have to go 16" it means hacking the hole on the hood bigger & my seal becomes redumdant. anything on the market that might be suitable for my application?

Yes you will if you contact Mike his site UNIVERSALSPINNERS.COM ... using a standard 14" OD air filter, that would be an engineering marvel...the Dominator meausures over 13" (measuring diagonally from the fuel bowl corners...which would be closest to the base). if he makes one, then it would use an especially thin filter.
