Steff...What are you up to??? Drag Pac car??
No Drag Pack Chally. Just a cool street/strip car. I'll post some pics later of what it is & my progress.
It never dawned on me that you weren't doing a drag pack Challenger..........which may speak about why they weren't flying off the shelves for other applications. I am seeing more and more late Hemi's going into older cars.............finally. I don't know whether to attribute it to fear of change or knowing what works and just not wanting to change. But you are still pretty much the only kid on the block with a swap like this.

It's pretty sad ma gave up on this already. I know there are plenty of guys like me just waiting for more motors to trickle into the world for sale. Although I will stick with the efi, it's pretty hard for us Mopar guys to compete with lsx stuff when the parts just aren't offered.

Although I will stick with the efi,
99% of people agree, therin lies the root of the problem......but as the supply of good OEM 340/360/5.9 engines dwindles.....that may no longer be true in the future.
It's the same mold with different machining for carb or efi, and if the world beats mp's door down for the carb intake, mp will make it. Nobody is asking for it currently though.
Another thing that didn't help was, the carb intake was mainly used as part of an 18 thousand dollar crate engine....but in it's heyday there were no pictures of it in the catalog or on the website. The carb crate engine made over 600HP on the dyno, yet the catalog says 540hp, which makes the manifold look pretty weak.
Trust me, it is not weak
Can't wait to get home and see Steve's pics.... darn firewall doesn't like 'em...

Isn't it possible to convert the efi to a carb mount??? Doesn't take but a good welder to fill the injector holes or what a minute put a fuel rail on it for n.o.s???? HUM sounds like an idea

I'm going to have some aluminum plugs made that have o-rings on them & insert them into the injector bores. With a little bit if blue Loctite they should be fine. I don't want to weld up the injector bores, should I decide to go to F.I. some day.
