I know, bad joke. I am trying to get 53 years of paint jobs (about 4) off the 57 so i can start the paint prep work. The body is really solid for all the years it has seen.

Looks good.
Look at the bright side of it, all that old paint did a good job of protecting the metal, even if it is a pain to remove. Gene

I don't think any of the muscle car i have had were as solid as this truck.Hope to finish getting paint off this week and pull the body back apart. I am going to paint the frame first, then the body. Randy

Nice truck! I have a small siphon sandblaster and it takes forever, and the wife gets pissed with the black beauty all over.

Depending on money, it will have either a 440 or a stroker 500 wedge. I already have the mounts set up for a rb. Randy

I want a 57 Dodge truck with the big back glass so bad....I think my 57 392 would go in one of those so nicely.
