The Mustang passed the most through FAST mandatory tech we ever did. Nothing major was found!

Did they come stock with a bump steer kit? Anything else that's not factory appearing under there?

To be honest I think the Mustang is KILLER, along with the awesome times, but I kinda take exception to a "bump steer" kit on the car if it is SUPPOSED to look "factory correct".
The problem being (as I found out a few moons ago) that there are certain "interpretations" allowed.

I wish the Mustang owner would try stock looking tierods and see if it really does affect his times, cause if it truly looked all stock there would be nothing to "whine" about as some say.

And where is Wayne and his Mustang? I miss Wayne, he was a cool guy, even if he WAS driving a Chevy...

Dave, I think you need to update your winningest ET-MPH proclamation.
While you're at it, just jump skip to a 9.99 ET cause we know it's in the cards.
All the best.

Honestly, if a bump steer kit helps him be safe in the mid to low 10 second zone, who cares!?!

Would you rather him take out a himself and even a competitor if the car got squirrley down track?!?

At the MOST I might suggest Kryloning them flat black to hide them a bit more and being done with it!

All of this is just mental masturbation on our parts if we're not part of the F.A.S.T. series tech anyway...

The Martin race is always awesome. If you haven't been before, you don't know what you're missing. FAST and Factory Stock both put on a great show.

WOW!!!

Serious stuff going on in this pic. I guess they aren't fooling around with the cam & valvetrain......or anything else I'd gather.

Congrats on the low 10s!

A question for the F.A.S.T. guys about their tires. Maybe it's a dumb question but are you guys soaking them in some kind of traction compound? If so, care to divulge which brand, how long?

I think it would be cool for some of us with street/strip weekend warrior/cruise night cars to start applying some of the F.A.S.T. tricks and techniques to our cars. Thanks!

Greg Gessler, Lane, Tom C. and few others I believe were there when Dave torn his car apart.
Why do you ask?

Between 3680lbs and 3720lbs depending on a few different things... Unless the track is slippery than it might go up another 150lbs or so.
