That motor is shoe horned in there. There is one that comes to our local cruise nights. The owner is really cocky. He has additional under hood supports in the front of the engine bay in addtion to the rear supports.
I have a hemi cuda and It is a pain to get the valve covers off and adjust the valves.
I ask him if it is a pain to adjust the valves. He says no he can get the valve covers off which includes removing these four braces and taking the master cylinder loose and pivoting it to the right removing all spark plugs and set the valves and have it back ready to run in an hour.
He is also sure the car would run in the 10's but he won't run it at the track.
He is perfect for the cruise night crowd.

Master Dave , what would you say is the "down the track" weight of the RR? With the Other guys running lighter weight cars, do you see a model change in the future ( same motor --of course  )

didn't Dave switch from the Challenger to the Road Runner for that very reason ?
