Unfortunately... it's 7pm Saturday, and an ugly result of 2 fronts meeting has ended the day early.

The remaining cars in today's program will finish the race on Sunday. No class finished - I believe Max Wedge, 10.00 Shootout, and Q16 are in the finals, Pro and Super Pro in the quarters, and 12 cars in Sportsman.

What was the total 1st round car count in each class (est)? Does the above mean there was a better turnout in Sportsman than the rest, or they didn't get as many rounds in before the rain?

Eric - someone did get Eddie the word. It started with just a few drops, and the lanes were able to be emptied before it became a monsoon. I think everyone was able to batten down the hatches.

Not sure if Sportsman had the most cars or not, but their lanes were pretty full in round 1, and round 2 with the buybacks.

After the car show parade, the special event that Bob talked about here was a Generations Race, and it was 1 round, grudge runs of family against family. Curt Jr went .027 red to Bob, who claims he scared him into it. We won't say what Bob's bulb was though! Well, maybe Curt will! It was fathers racing sons and daughters, brothers racing brothers, husbands racing wives... great stuff, lots of stories I'm sure coming out it, along with some bragging rights.
