Suggestion = Use the search function. This topic has been covered at length for years.

Comment = You are ultimately limited by the narrow rim size and backspacing you have.

Request = Take off the CAP LOCK!

Hello, You are sort of limited on width with the 7" wide wheels. I just put P275/60R15 (rear) and P235/60R15 (front) on a friend's '71 'Cuda convert. Personally, I think it looks too big on the rear, but he loves it! The P275/60's fill up the wheel-well. Jeff

PLEASE TURN OFF THE CAPSLOCK.

Please turn off the capslock.

Now which one do you think is easier to read?

=============================================

275-60R-15 will usually fit on the rear with 8" wheels with 4.5" backspace. They will be close to the wheelwell lip if the car is low and might need a little cut and/or bend where they are close. If it is higher in the rear like with SS springs then no problem.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

BFG Radial TA. Personally, I wish the fronts were just a little taller.

Grandpa, you don't have to be old to have vision problems.

On your key board on the lower left is the key 'Ctrl' Push that and at the same time the '+' by your number key.

If too big push the 'Ctrl' key again and at the same time push the '-' by your number key.

Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

Please define "young guys" and "Old Farts". What hair I have left is white and I have grandkids in college. Am I an old fart?

Being an old fart is not defined by the color of your hair but rather how many places on your body it is now growing.

Hello all i've got 29x12.5x15 Mickey Thompson Sportsmans on the back with leaf springs relocated inboard. They are a touch big, gaurds are rolled but they just rub on the inner wheel well. 225/70r15 on front love the look of big tyres on the back. 1970 Cuda

I've had 275x60 on 7" Rallyes, 245x60 up front. It's not recommended to run a 275 on a 7" wheel. I won't do it again.
A 255 on a 7" is better. If you just got to have a 275, use the aftermaket 8" wheels.

275-60-15 is the biggest you can fit without moving the leafs in. Your 15X7's will have to be the stock offset(4.25) as well for the 275's to fit. They will rub a bit as well. if you don't want to deal with any of that go with the 255's.
