Bill,
That is very kind and helpful to say the least and greatly appreciated.
I will definitely keep your offer in mind. If you are in the area stop in.

Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for the responses guys.
I thought that the N96 was the air grabber code? Is that correct?

Yes that is the Code for Air Grabber , ALL hemi cars had it .

The only way to know if it's an original tach car is to look at the Broadcast Sheet, it's not on the fender tag . the hole in your firewall on the drivers side is not in the correct location for the tach , added by a previous owner .

This is not correct, if a car came with a Tach it is on the fender tag, N85

SHOW ME AN ORIGINAL TAG ... Please ...

N85 on a St Louis fender tag...

The passenger side is the A/G cable hole as others have said. The driver's side hole should have a bolt/stud with a washered nut... not sure what attaches, maybe the heater box or a brace.

WOW!!! I couldn't ask for more or better!!!
What an asset Moparts is!
Thank you XS

Mark

Happy to help... looks like a better picture of the area has been posted.

N85 is also on the fender tag of my St. Louis-built '69 Road Runner.

This begs the question .... where is his heater box ?

The heater box and associated parts were removed from this car for the installation of AC. All those original parts were gone when the car was brought to me, so I didn't realize that was a stud hole. I am not sure what part of the "ductwork" fastened there though?

Thank you Kowal for the picture.

There are three studs to hold the heater box in place, using the nuts with the rotating washers. Two that everyone sees on the firewall in front of the passenger footwell and then the third right behind the driver side valve cover, which is what I think your extra hole is for. Here is a pic with the holes circled.
