Take off the gold, go polished!
11.48 @ 120 with a 1.80 60' 318, stock 1.88 heads, stock 904, Pump Gas, 13 lbs of boost.
9.94 @ 134, 318 on pump gas, 14 lbs w/ Eddies, transbrake 727, 3600 lbs, 3.54 gear and 28's.

What would you give??? They would look good with Brown Sugar for sure! You do realize they are spindle mount wheels tho right?

Yes they would wouldn't they?! Until you look at that price tag!!!! Yikes...$770 for each wheel! I think I will figure something out with the ones I have. You don't know anybody that has chrome wheels that they want to trade for gold ones do you????

Oven cleaner will remove the anodizing just fine. As for the polish Mothers works as do many other products out there. IMO trying to go from satin to polished I would choose something a tad more agressive to start and a good variable speed sander/polisher. Wool pads work well on polishing aluminum as do the foam pads used to buff cars out.That is what we use is our old paint buffing pads.
