Out with the 318/904 and 8 3/4. Now 440/727 and Dana 60. Stock gas tank gone and a new 20 gal tank mounted under the bed. Now she's off to the body shop for some new white paint.

didnt you use a 69 mustang tank in your stepside?

Yes, Did the same thing to the truck ^^^ above that i built the 440 for. 69 mustang tank. This pic on my old 75 truck kinda shows it tucked under the bed. Already bought 2 more of those tanks to do another truck im building for myself. And another for a buddies truck.

did yoou use a mustang sending unit? i think they are the same ohms as the dodge gauge

Yes, Comes with the tank. The gauge worked in my 75 truck but didnt read correctly. But think it was my gauge in the dash. Cause it read the same way before i put the mustang tank in. Ordered one of the tanks the other day and was $127.00 to my door. Not sure if i got a discount or not? Shows $134 on their website. https://www.kentuckymustang.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=5297

Can someone photo shop this and show me what it would like lowered. I know it's not a truck but I still would love to see what it would look like.

I think the first picture is what I'm looking to do. Any Ideas on what I need to do to it to give it that stance?

lol, I was going to say that. Probably the coil cut method is what I'll do on the front. I doubt you can mount the axle over the spring on the back.

I've got the spoiler kit for it as well so I cant go to crazy low with it as it would take the spoiler off the front of it. Also plan on putting the chrome slots on it as I have a nice set for it.

Current (most pics) 255/45-18. If you can find my old-old-old (pre-paint) pics from Ramcharger Central it had 245/45-17 with Mustang wheels back then.

I think 245/45s are a bit short But Im not there yet. manna Locate a couple used ones for mock up but Im pretty set on being 27-28" tall with the tire. 245/45s are 26". I've mounted them in a v6 mustang before. I plan to sit close to the truck in the pic. No its not bagged in the pic. Its static. He has 20" Ram steelies

Any negative thoughts about using shackles on the back? I'll look into using the drop Dakota spindles on the front.

No. I plan to use them. But they don't drop the rear much. If touch flip the front hanger it drops more. Ill have to draw up my plans. It confuses people some lol. Belltech 2600 $280 I believe
