What is the general concensus, restrict or not? I have had them both ways. Bracket only engine with UltraDyne .613 cam, with Harland Sharp roller rockers, high volume oil pump. Thanks for your opinions.

I would restricted it. we put way to much oil to the heads and it runs down gets caught up in the crank when it's better directed to where it is needed.

I have the same cam and rockers with 915 heads.

My block is drilled and tapped for restrictors (Carter Jets), .060" IIRC

If the motor is not set up to oil the rockers full time I wouldn't add any restrictors to the rockers Solid lifter versus soild roller lifters are two different storys, some solid roller cams come with a groove in the number four cam journal for full time oiling to the rockers, I have not seen that stock on a solid lifter cam yet. I have it done on all of my cams now and then see if they need restrictors.

If the top end is just getting a squirt when the cam passages line up then I don't think you want to add restrictors. However, if the #4 journal's been grooved or you've tapped into the main galleys then you should put in restrictors.
