Its asking for my rollout time. I have a 24.5" tall front tire, 437 hp, 4.10 rear gear and a 1.58 60' time. What would be my aprox rollout time? I can't seem to find a calculator for this anywhere online. Thanks guys.

Thanks Rick, I saw that one. When I put the info in it, it gives the measurement (inches). My rollout measurement is 19.242 inches with one complete revolution of the ring gear. How do I convert that into a time? example: 0.097 seconds. I know it would be tuff to figure exactly cause it would change depending where you staged in the beams.

Thanks

I would initially start out with a rollout of about .035 that is average for a car with that 60' time. However rollout is hard to be based on 60'its all about the initial movement of the car. Do you have a lot of suspension squat or does it move out quick?

I would start at .035 and hit your spot. See where you are. Put about 20 hits on the tree and keep them consistent then adjust + or - to get where you need to be. The biggest thing to know about using a practice tree is to find a comfortable spot to leave on the tree. A spot where you are not anticipating the 3rd amber.

This will translate to better consistency on the track. Then you can adjust the car (suspension, launch RPM) to get RT down where you want them.

The car moves out pretty good now that we have replaced all the "iso" mounts from K-member to body, (Volare') with solid mounts and solid torque straps on motor. I had it figured out with all the flex but as soon as I take the flex from the car.. big ol' red bulb...lol. I had someone take a video of it leaving from the passanger side of the car and found that it gets both front wheels up a little when it leaves. That may be my problem right there anyway. Thanks for the info.. I'll start out with that #.

"Factory" setting on my Pocket Pal is .320. The best way I have found to adjust roll out is to practice with the factory setting. When you get pretty consistant with your practice tree set at .320, apply it to the track. Try to stage shallow and the same each time to eliminate that variable. Make some passes and see what your reaction times are. If you are within say .030, .320 is a good rollout time for you and your car. If you are slower than .030, dial in less rollout time on your practice tree and vise versa. Believe it or not, Driver rollout time is usually very consistant around .210.
