I am helping out a friend who bought a 70 Chrysler convertible.
he is doing a full-on resto.
It had a 72-up 400 2bbl in it and he put in a 69 383 bbbl.
The car has factory cruise control just to add soup to the mix.
Can anybody post up pics or a link to the correct 4bbl with cruise throttle bracket and kickdown linkage please??
I already installed a correct 4bbl throttle cable,but the kickdown linkage from the newer 400 just does not seem to work properly.
Also the 400 2bbl cruise cable is too short.
Two ways I can go
1.Find and install correct 1970 linkage and bracketand cruise parts..
2.find correct 72 and newer 4bbl kickdown linkage and cruise parts.

The spring on the linkage going to the trans stops the ball end coming out, I know it's not right but replacement parts are hard to get in New Zealand & this car is a driver rather than a trailer queen

I'm not certain it's right for a C-body.

And these are 69 B-body but should be the same as 70 B-body.

If your friend is doing a "full on resto" then he should at least invest in a service manual. Otherwise you'll be on here every day asking questions on how to put stuff together.
