70AARcuda master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 9,826 las vegas	just went out in the garage and looked... the two LA standard head bolt pattern heads have the 893 casting....and the brand new in the box W5 intake has the 893 casting... so you can not just go my the casting number..the intakes appear identical except for the bolt pattern... this intake is setting on top of a set of eddy heads...and the standard LA intake gaskets line up. same casting ...different part numbers... but the part numbers are not on the intake only the casting... 5930836-100_2909.JPG (460 downloads) Last edited by 70AARcuda; 04/17/10 11:52 AM. At risk, here's a bunch of shots on a intake I have for sale at another site, worthy of a look. It has the wide bolt spacing of the W series heads and the same casting numbers as 70AAR. It so appears that this intake is drilled as needed, OE heads, W5 heads. The ports are very close to gasket matched. The W-5 version would also have to be milled for OEM port alignment. W-5 heads have raised intake (and exhaust) ports.
