Ive recently buttoned up the brake system on my 67 dart after doing the front disc swap, and the brakes just dont feel right. There doesnt seem to be any resistance at all compared to what im used to expecting from brakes, and the pedal goes all the way to the floor before the car will even slow down. Im 100% sure on all the brake components and thier is no air in the lines as ive gone through all that stuff many times over. Is thier something i could be missing or is this just how manual brakes are? And yes i did install the prop valve. Thanks in advance!

bench bleed the MC and then start at the pass side rear tire working to the closest tire to MC last you have air in there for sure I would think are the bleeder up top on the calpers when mounted on the rotor??? did you have all the lines open while working on it still have the CI 4 bolt MC on it?

Bleed the master by having someone apply light pressure to the pedal, then crack the lines open at the master, then close them, then release the brake pedal. make sure you put a rag under the lines when you crack them open so the drips don't land on paint.
I know that it would seem like the master SHOULD bleed itself as you pump it and push fluid out the lines to the wheels, but it doesnt!

If you pump the pedal a few times will the pedal come up and be more firm?

Every time i bled it i always used the "start at the wheel furthest from the MC" technique, never had more than one bleeder cracked at a time, and yes the bleeders are facing up and at the rear of the spindle. Its actually a 2 bolt MC (I6 car originally, dunno if that makes a diff in MC's tho) And no amount of pumping makes the pedal seem firmer, always nice and mushy. Tomm ill try bleeding the MC one more time I guess. It sucks ive spent my entire boot leave on this thing and its still not right! So dayim frustrating

Manually adjust the rear shoes up tight to the drums and see if the pedal gets better.

Leave huh? where you stationed? yes, this stuff can get frustrating. when I bought my car, I had 3 weeks of summer break at the Academy to get it in road worthy condition and drive it from Ohio back to Colorado. I rebuilt the entire brake system, tore apart the dash and un-did a rats nest of 30 years worth of crappy wire jobs, got all the gauges working properly, re-wired the front lights, tail lights, engine bay, put new bearings in the axle, replaced the ignition system, and had a new exhaust put on it. I even had the seats recovered.
I missed being able to drive it back to Colorado by about 3 days, and had to fly back, then let my dad finish it and drive it out for me on the next long weekend.

pull the ebrake up tight to see if it's an adjustment prob but from the descrip it sure sounds like air if I'm interpreting the reading right that it is going to the floor. As said bleed the M/C 1st

Nice. tough luck on the plates, but...you knew what you were doing when you did it!
if you get over to Afghanistan by the end of the year, look me up. but it sounds like you're a ways from going anywhere yet.
