The pistons i bought from John were custom made pieces that Diamond made for him but he ended up not using them, I think i payed him around $700 including the rings. But that was 6 years ago, pistons for a stroker 383 are now more available from different vendors.
I used a old forged 440 crank (because then there were no 'cheap' stroker cranks as now) and had the crank grinded to B-block mains and offset grinded to 3.91 stroke, for the money i payed to had that crank machined i now can buy 2 Source cranks.
