I've been trying to think of a way to put '63 Dodge hubcaps on my later model (small centered) wheels. I especially wanted to try them out on my patrol car wheels as I thought they'd look pretty sharp.
Here's what I came up with.
I took a later model dog dish and using two part epoxy I spread it evenly on the face. I then put the early hubcap ('63) over it and pressed it down evenly. Here's what it looks like:

Yeah, you and the wife both! She keeps thinking they'll go spinning off the car and down the highway. I racked my brain for some kind of mechanical bracketry to try and put the caps on and really couldn't come up with anything do-able that didn't require a whole bunch of effort. I guess we'll see if they'll stay on at a buck thirty plus! Oh yeah, that weighs nothing compared to the '69 Polara/Charger full hubcaps! Those things gotta weigh 10-15 lbs apiece!

Well, Bill?
Thought it didn't get much easier than this!?
The reason I did it is because I already have a bunch of the later model wheels and was looking for an economical way to adapt the earlier caps to them.
And to answer the question, yes, I've repeatedly taken it off and put it back on the wheel to make sure it works.
