i would just buy the B+M flexplate and be done with it , then you can run any neutral balance convertor your heart chooses

The easiest way to solve this problem is to by the B&M flexplate for the external balance engine. It's only $80 and it's a lot less hassle.

Very simple to take a JY 360 converter and knock the weights off it and tack to a different converter. Orient be laying the 360 converter and the non weighted converter next and using teh flexplate lugs as an index to each other and locate. Also if the non weighted converter is OEM type the weights will go 1 on each side of the drain if so equipped. Yep the B&M plate is nice but more spendy.

And I might just know someone who's trying to get rid of a B&M sb 904 flex plate.
